Stock Availability
All products are subject to availability. Our stock level reflects availability
between our suppliers and our store. Most of the stock on our site is live, with
stock levels updated at least daily. Unfortunately like all good systems it is not
fool proof, and there may be errors. If for any reason a product is out of stock
we will contact you and discuss what you may wish to do, either wait, change product
choice or refund, your choice.
Pricing
Prices on our web site are subject to change without prior notice. One you have
ordered the price is set. All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
International Buyers
Basic Bikes is a New Zealand based business and all prices are listed in New Zealand
dollars (NZD). The price advertised might not be the same price charged to the credit
card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. Your bank will apply any charges
for conversion. You will be responsible for any local taxes or costs in your country.
Shipping Charges
Unless otherwise requested, orders will be shipped via courier service. All goods
must be signed for on delivery so ensure that someone is at the delivery address
to receive the goods. As the cost for International orders varies, we will confirm
shipping costs prior to order confirmation and payment.

Payment
Basic Bikes uses DPS (Direct Payment Solutions) to securely process and manage credit
card transactions. DPS are certified to Visa and Mastercard’s global industry standards.
This ensures that best practice methodologies and process are adhered to for our
customers’ protection. If you would like more information about DPS and their Privacy

Warranties
All the products we sell are backed by the manufacturers warranty service. It is
the responsibility of the purchaser to inform BASIC of any warranty issues either
within or out with the warranty period. This in all cases will require inspection
of the product either by us or by an approved third party at our sole discretion.
Items covered under manufacturers warranty will be repaired or replaced. Shipping
and labour costs are not covered under any warranty, although we will endeavour
to keep this to a minimum.
Any Damaged goods must be reported within 48 hrs of receipt quoting invoice number,
courier tracking number. The can be made by e mail, fax or phone, preferably with
digital image showing damage. We will endeavour to remedy all disputes within 14
days of notification. We will pay all costs for good found to be faulty or incorrect.
Returns
Goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt for refund or exchange. The goods
must be returned new, unused, and in a sellable condition with all of the original
packaging. This right of return will not cover bikes or frames that are special
orders and found to be an incorrect fit this is the responsibility of the purchaser,
however all other standard warranties will apply. Freight costs will not be refunded.
Errors
They can happen! If we make a mistake we will get it sorted, if you find an error
let us know and we will get it sorted. We do our best but it is inevitable something
may be wrong or go wrong like above WE WILL GET IT SORTED!
