Basic Bikes Newsletter - 24 Sep 2010
Back for a second round! Welcome to the second ever addition of the Basic Bikes News Letter! Spring is in the air and things are slowly picking up for another season of cycling fever. We have a few new sweet goodies in store to kick off the first month of spring. We are pleased to announce the arrival of the new Shimano XTR gear. Now comes in two flavours: Race and Trail. Very slick indeed! We are also very excited about the new Niner ‘Air 9 Carbon’. When riding one of these, be very wary of strong winds because these things are light! This month we’ve found a few new specials that may catch your eye and also have a few more products apart from the XTR gear and the Niner we’d like to share so remember to check out that part of the newsletter too.

Show Us Ya Bottle Cap
We’re happy to have Dave back this month (last month he was off with a broken leg and shared a wee recipe of his with us), so we thought we shouldn’t pester him for any more yummy food. Instead we had to think of something a little different. Our experiment for this month is a little competition we thought we’d try out. Introducing the “Show Us Ya Bottle Cap” Competition:
Let The Games Begin!!
Every one down here at the shop is partial to a good beer so together with three boys and Niner we have a 3 pack of three boys and a new Niner head set bottle cap up for grabs. All you have to do is send in a picture with your favourite rare bottle cap and next newsletter we will announce the lucky winner.
A little inspiration from our Resident scarfie!
